Welcome to our network!

Jewish Aggie Former Students (JAFS) is a brand new chartered constituent network of Texas A&M’s Association of Former Students as of November 2025.

JAFS was born in response to the alarming acts of antisemitism seen on college campuses in the wake of October 7, 2023. Fortunately, Texas A&M continues to be a welcoming & supportive environment for Jewish students, with a variety of robust programming provided by both Hillel and Chabad.

JAFS’ goal is to share the amazing experience of Jewish Aggie life with the world so that more Jewish students see Texas A&M as the premiere option for their higher education pursuits. Our stated purpose in our charter is to “provide a community for Former Students who participated in Jewish life during their time at Texas A&M. We will raise funds for scholarships that increase awareness of Texas A&M as a great choice for all students who are deciding where to attend college.” Our mission is to “keep members connected to the Jewish Aggie community after graduation, support current students on their Texas A&M journeys, and recruit students to attend Texas A&M through scholarships.”

Anyone who wants to support Jewish Aggie life can be a member of JAFS, but our primary aim is to maintain and reaffirm connections between Jewish Aggies in College Station and beyond. We will be planning events around Texas for members to network and raise funds to provide scholarships that will attract more Jewish students to Texas A&M. To make your membership official, fill out our Membership Form. If you want to get involved in our leadership, please email or message us on social media (see links below).

Be sure to follow us on Facebook or Instagram where we will share the happenings of Jewish Aggie life as well as information about JAFS and our events:
