Leadership

President: Carlie Dorshaw-Moe, ’07

Carlie is a double Aggie with a BA in Political Science and a Masters of Public Service & Administration from the Bush School. Carlie founded JAFS to help promote Jewish Aggie life in response to the anti-Israel protests seen on other college campuses after October 7. Her goal is to make Texas A&M the #1 choice for Jewish students when deciding where to apply and attend college.

She hopes to create a strong community of Jewish Aggies outside of College Station who share her passion for Texas A&M and Jewish campus life. Carlie is a member of Alpha Epsilon Phi, a Jewish sorority, serving as an alumna advisor for the chapter at Texas A&M. She is also part of the ADL’s Glass Leadership Institute 2010-11 Dallas cohort.

Carlie lives in Dallas with her husband Brian and their dogs Roxie and Marty. Carlie and Brian met at Texas A&M Hillel in 2003 and have been married for over 15 years. They are Aggie football season ticket holders and after this season will have visited every SEC stadium but 2.

Brian is an alumnus of Sigma Alpha Mu fraternity and one of the Texas A&M chapter’s founding members. He also part of the ADL’s Glass Leadership Institute 2019-2020 Dallas cohort. When he’s not watching Aggie football, you can find Brian on the tennis court or experimenting with BBQ. He is excited to continue to support Jewish Aggie life!
